Differences Between JS And JSS Series
The two types of concrete mixers are double shaft compulsory mixers. They are different in structure.
JS series: there are two horizontal mixing shafts in the drum, and each shaft has mixing blades. This type of mixer is commonly used in small to large ready mix concrete plants.
JSS series: the mixing shaft has double-spiral continuous blades, which offers good mixing quality, high efficiency, low noise, low energy consumption and good sealing effect. The mixer is especially suitable for large concrete mixing plants.

Twin Shaft Concrete Mixer Parts
The mixer consists of feeding, mixing, discharging, water supply and electrical system.
- Mixing system
There are two horizontal mixing shafts in the mixing drum, each with mixing blades. At both ends of the mixing drum, there are side blades on the mixing arms so that they can scrape off the concrete on the end faces.
- Feeding system
The feeding system is composed of a hoisting mechanism, a loading frame, a hopper and a feeding nozzle.
- Discharging system
The system consists of discharge door, air cylinder or hydraulic cylinder. It can be controlled hydraulically, manually or pneumatically.
- Water supply
The water supply system consists of a water pump, a throttle valve, cleaning and sprinkling device. The throttle valve regulates the flow of water, and the total amount of water supplied is regulated by a time relay.
- Electrical system
The electric control system is designed with an air switch, a fuse, and a thermal relay with the functions of short circuit protection and overload protection. The electrical components in the distribution box are mounted on an insulating board, which is very safe and reliable to use, and also easy to operate and maintain.

Working of Dual Shaft Mixer
The mixer is a sort of compulsory concrete mixer as it provides forced agitation by blades which are evenly placed on the rotating shaft in the drum. During operation, the rotating shaft drives the blades to shear, squeeze and turn the material to force the agitation, so that the material is uniformly mixed in the violent relative motion.
The service life of the mixer is determined by the amount of agitation. Generally, the machine can complete the agitation of 30,000 cubic meters.
